ORLANDO, FLA. — High-end audio/video cables and speaker wire maker Tributaries has introduced a 75-ohm high-performance YCS S-Video Separator Cable for long runs.

The Tributaries YCS Separators are said to allow the highest quality separation of the luminance and chroma information of an S-Video signal for RG6-Video cable runs of up to 100 feet with no appreciable signal loss.

These feature two multi-stranded Oxygen Free High Conductivity (OFHC) copper conductors, each surrounded by its own aluminum/Mylar wrap, OFHC copper braided shield, all surrounded with an aluminum/Mylar wrap.

The cable is terminated at the combined cable end with a gold-plated brass mini-din S-Video connector, while the other ends feature heavy-duty gold-plated 75-ohm connectors available in BNC (straight or right angle), RCA male (straight or right angle), RCA female (straight) or F.

The 6-inch Tributaries YCS-Video Separator Cables have a suggested retail of $77.50 for the model YCS/BNC, and $65 for models YCS/F, YCS/RCA and YCS/FRCA.
