Technuity Intros Portable Outlet

By Staff On Oct 8 2007 - 6:00am

Technuity introduced the Energizer-licensed Energi to Go portable outlet last month.

The portable outlet features a standard three-prong wall outlet and is attached to a rechargeable battery pack. It provides standard AC wall power that supplies energy to CE devices using their original AC adapters.

Unlike other inverters, said Technuity, the portable outlet doesn't require an outside power source. Included in the packaging are a cigarette car adapter and a wall adapter used to charge the internal battery packs. Almost two hours of extra battery life for laptop and notebook computers can be expected (although this may vary), 75 hours of music for portable MP3 players, 75 hours of standby power for cellphones and up to two hours of extra video recording for a camcorder.

It has a $99.99 suggested retail and is currently available.
