TDK Wants Buyers To Dig CD-R Discs

TDK is bringing style and excitement to CD recording with its new line of custom designed Dig-It CD-R discs. The discs are available in a wide variety of versions, featuring colorful label and packaging designs, in unique, collectible styling, according to the company.

The Dig-It CD-R discs are offered in data and music-only format, and are available in such design themes as seasonal palm trees and beach umbrellas and automotive hubcaps and wheel rims. They also come in sports, music, '70s style abstract designs, animals and other motifs.

The CD-R multimedia and music discs are available in 80-minute 5- and 10-packs, as well as 20-pack spindles. Suggested retail is $8.99 for a 10-pack. Write speeds are up to 48x compatible.

"CD recording has truly changed the way many Americans, particularly younger music enthusiasts, enjoy and collect music," said Chris Bailey, TDK recording media director.
