TDK is introducing here at the 2004 International Consumer Electronics Show an expanded lineup of recordable DVD media, offering consumers a host of new solutions for creating and sharing digital video, multimedia and valuable data.
Additions include second-generation Armor Plated DVD media and photo-quality printable DVD discs for the latest Epson Stylus inkjet printers.
The Armor Plated DVD media adds an ultraviolet protective layer that guards against UV-ray damage. Armor Plated DVD coating also guards against scratches that can occur from daily use, as discs are placed in and removed from their storage cases.
Armor Plated DVD media with UV protection will be available from the Garden City, N.Y-based company in the early winter of 2004 in DVD-R format at an estimated street price of $4.99 each.
The photo-quality printable DVD discs are optimized for high resolution, color-perfect DVD surface printing, with the latest generation of Epson inkjet printer models that feature direct printing on CD or DVD surfaces.
TDK's printable DVD media will be available in the first quarter of 2004 in DVD-R format at an estimated street price of $3.99 each.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
