The Elite Series of notebook cases from Targus — including the Notebook Backpack, Commuter Case and EasyRoller — is scheduled for early spring availability, and it is said to represent Targus' finest materials, construction and features. It's "the best of everything we have to offer and is designed to accommodate the most demanding and discriminating notebook users," reported the company.
Features include the SafePORT Air Cushion System, pneumatic wheels for the EasyRoller, shock-absorption design, zip-down workstation with 15 different pockets and pouches, and a retractable light inside the workstation on the Commuter and EasyRoller.
In addition to holding a notebook computer, the Elite trio includes size-specific compartments to hold a PDA, power adapters, external hard drives and a cellphone. The three are designed to fit notebooks with screens up to 15 inches.
The TR601 Backpack has a suggested $79 retail; the TR301 Commuter is $99, and top-of-the-line TR701 EasyRoller is $149.
