Targus Digital Launches Chargers, Batteries

Targus Digital announced six products in the battery and battery-charging category.

The TG-CH800 eight-slot rapid battery charger can be used with AA or AAA batteries in the car with a standard wall outlet. Charging time is two hours. The charger includes an indicator light and "advanced technology" to "prevent overcharging," said Targus Digital. It has a $29.99 suggested retail.

The TG-CHUSB USB battery charger ($9.99) is designed to be used for AA or AAA NiMH batteries in any USB port.

Billed by the company as a "rapid AC/DC, two-hour battery charger," the TG-CH2600W ($19.99) comes with an indictor light.

The TG-LCD2700 ($24.99) is a two-hour LCD charger that can be used for AA or AAA batteries. Its voltages measure 100-240 volts for worldwide usage, and it features the same advanced technology as the TG-CH800.

The TGC-CH2300 overnight AA battery charger ($11.99) includes a 12- to 24-volt car charger as well as a charge indicator light. It can be plugged into any 100-volt AC wall socket as well.

Finally, the TG-PC2200 rechargeable NiMH AA batteries are 2200mAh with a $9.99 suggested retail for a four-pack.

All of the products are described as being "100 percent memory-free," which means they can be charged between 500 and 1,000 times, depending on the product.
