LAS VEGAS - Case Logic debuted increased-capacity CD wallets for three of its existing lines at the International Consumer Electronics Show here earlier this month. These include the Classic, Koskin and Color CD Wallets.
The Classic wallet line is now available in 32-, 64-, 88-, 120-, 208- and 264-CD capacities. The 88-CD-or-more types boast a strap system that allows pages to lie flat for easy access. The 208- and 264-capacity wallets sport a sturdy carrying handle.
Case Logic's Koskin line offers all sizes except the 264. Those with 88 CDs or more offer easy-flip pages, while the 88-capacity-and-higher wallets feature an easy-view index tab on the carrying handle.
Color CD Wallets offer capacities from 32 to 120, with the CDY-120 including the strap system with flip pages.
Suggested retails for the three wallet lines range from $11.99 to $54.99.
In the hot digital camera category, Longmont, Colo.-based Case Logic introduced the Polyester DS and the Koskin DC lines for both compact and large digital cameras.
The DS-1 compact digital camera case holds a camera and offers an accessory pocket with a protective sleeve for memory cards. The DS-2 upgrades to medium-sized digital cameras and boasts a buckle closure accessory pocket. The DS-3 for larger digital cameras features a pocket with individual sleeves for batteries, flash cards or other accessories.
Suggested retails are $12.99 for the DS-1, $16.99 for the DS-2 and $29.99 for the DS-3.
A Digital Memory Case, called the DMC-1, provides protection for memory cards and four AA batteries. Made of Koskin, this digital camera companion retails for $9.99.
The DMC-2, at $5.99 suggested retail, is small enough to fit inside the DMC-1, or inside the storage pockets of camera or camcorder bags, and holds up to six memory cards. Like the DMC-1, the DMC-2 holds most digital memory cards except the Clik PC card.
Two Family Radio Service cases from fasten to a belt loop or can be carried around the neck. Both have $9.99 suggested retail prices.
