Sleek Audio introduced this month its SA1 earphones.
Featuring a Sian rosewood body encasing 6mm dynamic drivers, the earphones enable users to tune them to match preferred sonic preference. The cables can be detached for wireless or wired capabilities, and they offer Kleer wireless technology.
David Gil, marketing director for Sleek, told TWICE, “The SA1, like the SA6 and custom CT6 model, use our patented detachable cable, making them the only earphones in the world that can go from wired, to wireless and back again … there is one model, the SA1, but you can also purchase the Kleer W-1 wireless unit as an accessory. This enables the user to detach the standard cable and plug the wireless receiver into the earphones to go wireless. When the wireless battery dies … you can just plug the standard cables back in.”
The SA1's VQ tuning system allows for independent tuning of high and low frequencies using different treble porting options, Sleek said, and the headphones also have Environmental Sound Control technology for blocking ambient noise. Impedance is listed at 25 ohms.
Currently available, the SA1 earphones have a $79.99 suggested retail.
This TWICE webinar, hosted by senior editor Alan Wolf, will take a look at what may be the hottest CE products at retail that will be sold during the all-important fourth quarter. Top technologies, market strategies and industry trends will be discussed with industry analysts and executives.
