Sennheiser is shipping two new top-of-the-line additions to its Streetwear stereo mini headphone's line. Called the PX 100 and PX 200, the units are designed for people on the move and offer powerful music reproduction with a detailed and natural sound.
Perfect for portable CD or MP3 player, the PX 100, with a frequency response of 15Hz-27kHz, ensures extremely low distortion and a fast bass response. Suggested retail is $49.95.
The PX 200, at a suggested $59.95, delivers outstanding, powerful, punchy bass and a detailed sound that is ideal for all genres of today's music, said the company. It offers a frequency response of 10Hz-21kHz and comes with soft ring ear pads that reduce undesirable ambient noise at frequencies above 1,200Hz by –15dB to –25dB.
Both headphones weigh in at 2.1 ounces each. The collapsible mini headphones lock into an open or closed position and fold down into a rugged protective case with cord take-up that fits easily into any shirt pocket. Both models are supplied with a 55-inch cable and 3.5mm stereo jack. Both are available in black or silver.
Sennheiser also introduced its Streetwear top-of-the-range PX 250, dynamic mini headphones for portable players, at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas last month. The unit, at a suggested $129.95, offers sealed ear cups and comfortably fitting ear pads.
