Sakar International is featuring a digital car charger that quick-charges in two hours. The unit, which works with both AA and AAA batteries, fits digital cameras, portable audio devices and handheld games.
The charger comes with 2 AA 2000mAh nickel metal-hydride rechargeable batteries, and can be used with 12- to 24-volt DC vehicle voltage.
The Sakar rapid car charger is inserted into a car cigarette lighter, and then 2 AA or AAA batteries are placed into the battery holder. A LED lights to indicate that the batteries are being recharged, batteries are fully charged when the LED has changed from red to green.
Batteries left in the charger can be kept fully responsive by a trickle charge. Suggested retail is $14.99.
