Powermate has introduced two additions to its Motor Trend line of Bluetooth headsets: the MT-BT09 and the MT-BT10.

Both of the headsets boast the company's Max 4x technology, which is engineered to block four times the external environment/ambient noise.

Weighing 1.5 ounces, the BT09 has an over-the-head construction with the boom microphone able to fit on either ear. A rechargeable lithium-polymer batter is used, and the device reportedly offers up to eight hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby time.

Suggested retail is $119 to $129, said Powermate.

The BT10 headset ($129 to $139) also features an over-the-head design, or the ear bud unit can be worn by itself. It also weighs a reported 1.5 ounces, and has the same talktime and standby time as the BT09.

Both headsets, which are currently available, offer the following features: call waiting, voice-activated dialing, touch-button volume control, one-touch call answer/end and redial and a two-year warranty.

Powermate is a division of Powercam.
