Polyconcept USA is partnering with Nickelodeon to create an all-new line of interactive consumer electronics products inspired by the network's No. 1 television series.

The newly inked agreement with Nickelodeon marks Polyconcept's entry into entertainment-based licensing.

Polyconcept has entered into a three-year licensing deal with Nickelodeon to translate the fun and quirky personality of the show's star, SpongeBob SquarePants, into a line of original and engaging products.

Polyconcept's initial trio of SpongeBob products will be available in June 2003. In addition, as part of the new partnership, Polyconcept will introduce Nickelodeon-branded CE products in 2004.

Licensing successes for Stamford, Conn.-based Polyconcept include Crayola, Nintendo, Barbie Nostalgic and others.

The company will be displaying SpongeBob SquarePants CE offerings for the first time when it sets up house at the 2003 International Consumer Electronics Show here this week. Booth 10743 is in Central Hall.
