Several new plasma display mounting solutions are available from Peerless Industries, including what the company calls a "completely new design concept that offers single- or double-stud mounting capability in one mount — a breakthrough in plasma design."
Called the Universal Single and Double Stud Tilting Wall Mount, it begins shipping in April for a suggested $350 retail. Capable of being mounted onto different structures or to different stud layouts, the unit is said to be the only single-/double-stud all-in-one mounting system with universal and dedicated capability for up to 60-inch-plus plasma displays. It is offered in black and silver.
A Universal Tilting Plasma Wall Mount from Peerless incorporates several "unique" design features, said the company. It offers an adjustable tilt that allows the desired viewing angle, and also comes standard with a visual guide to ensure that the screen is secured safely to the mount. The versatile wall plate makes the installation process easier, fitting most brands of plasma displays on the market today. The mount comes in black and silver and has a suggested $280 retail.
An Articulating Swivel Mount offers multiple viewing options and can hold up to a 61-inch plasma screen. Ideal for home theater, it can be placed into a recessed wall or armoire. The mount can be folded flat against the wall and extends forward up to 30.5 inches. It is available in black and silver for a suggested $648 retail.
A Single Stud Tilting Plasma Wall Mount from Peerless offers a contemporary design that makes it ideal for use in a living room, family room, entertainment room or bedroom. The universal screen brackets attach to virtually any plasma screen up to 63 inches. Adjustable tilt allows the user to choose a desired viewing angle, and the angle can be locked down with a mechanism that hooks onto the bottom of the brackets. It comes in black and silver for a suggested $150 retail.
