OtterBox Intros Case For 2nd Gen. Nano

OtterBox has a new case designed specifically to protect the second-generation iPod Nanos that Apple recently brought to market.

The heavy-duty case features an airtight seal to protect against the elements and its rugged, drop-proof design is intended to protect the player from falls and scratches. The case features an "interactive click wheel" membrane so users can control their iPod with the case on. In addition, the case is clear so that the color of the Nano shows though.

According to the company, the case accommodates any style headphone but it can be used for swimming with waterproof headphones, much like OtterBox' recently released case for Apple's latest video iPods.(see TWICE, Oct. 23, p. 64).

OtterBox said the product —which accommodates the 2GB, 4GB and 8GB models — comes with a removable neck lanyard and a belt clip and that optional armbands are also available. It has a suggested retail price of $39.95 and is available now.
