OmniMount has launched a new line of speaker stands and a two flat-panel display swivels for the home theater enthusiast segment.
The products will sport newly designed packaging that is slated to roll out to all OmniMount products by the end of 2008, the company said.
The speaker stands come in three sizes to accommodate small- and medium-sized satellite speakers and large bookshelf speakers.
The satellite models come in black or platinum, are height adjustable and include in-post cable management that hides up to 14-gauge speaker wire.
The EL0 small satellite speaker stand fits satellite speakers up to 4 pounds and includes three universal adapters for maximum compatibility. It adjusts from 26 inches to 36 inches high and is available with a tempered glass base and platinum post or black glass base and steel post. Rubberized isolation feet minimize vibration and protect floors. They retail for $49.95 a pair.
The Gemini 1 medium stand accommodates satellite speakers up to 8 pounds and includes four universal adapters. It ships with interchangeable base inserts that offer four colors options: brushed stainless steel, high-gloss black, cherry and espresso. The optional platinum or high-gloss black base and steel posts are height adjustable from 31 inches to 45 inches. Steel isolation spikes minimize vibration and stabilize the base. Suggested retail is $69.95 a pair.
The new Gemini 2 stand fits large bookshelf speakers up to 20 pounds and adjusts from 24 inches to 31 inches high. The high-gloss black stand also has interchangeable base inserts with the same four color options as the Gemini 1. It also has steel isolation spikes and sports a high-gloss black base and steel post. Retail is $89.95 a pair.
Also new are two television swivels, the SW1 and SW2, designed for flat-panel or CRT TV models. The reversible base comes in black and espresso. The SW1 fits flat panels with screen sizes up to 27 inches or CRTs up to 20 inches weighing up to 60 pounds; the SW2 fits up to a 42-inch flat panel or a 27-inch CRT up to 99 pounds.
The swivels rotate 360 degrees for viewing from any angle and are ready to use right out of the box, according to OmniMount. Both sizes ship with a rubberized bumper for durability and scratch-resistant pads to protect furniture. The SW1 retails for $19.95 and the SW2 for $29.95.
The stands and swivels are available now.
