Premier Mounts Debuts In-Wall Boxes

ANAHEIM, CALIF. — Premier Mounts has introduced two in-wall boxes for use with the company's Infinity and PTM lines if flat-panel TV mounts.

The in-wall boxes allow a mounted display to rest flush against the wall, keeping the wall-mount equipment out of view when the display isn't being used. In fact, even when the display is in use and extended from the wall, the company says the recessed area is void of visible cabling.

"The beauty of an in-wall box recessed swing out arm solution is that homeowners can achieve the high-end finished look they want without compromising their ability to tilt, move and adjust the TV to fit their viewing requirements," said Premier's marketing manager, Jason Cole.

The line is available in two sizes. The larger INW-AM325 supports displays measuring between 37 inches and 61-inches, and the smaller INW-AM200 accommodates TVs measuring between 17 inches and 40 inches. Each carries respective suggested retails of $299 and $199.

Bell'O Bows Mounts 'For Dummies'

MORGANVILLE, N.J. — Bell'O International is launching a line of "For Dummies"-branded all-in-one flat-panel TV wall-mount kits, the result of a partnership with Wiley Publishing.

According to Bell'O, the kits make it easy for inexperienced consumers to self-install their flat-panel TVs.

The kits include a steel, powder-coated, black-finished mounting bracket, a step-by-step installation DVD with instruction manual, an installation template and a hardware kit.

"We're excited to be partnering with Bell'O, especially after the great reaction to our product launch at CES," said Mark Mikulich, Wiley's brand management VP. "The TV wall mounts have proven to be a great fit with the 'For Dummies' brand, as everyone acknowledged in Las Vegas."

The line will be available in the second quarter.
