Action sports-theme CD-R units feature a different extreme lifestyle or extreme sports image on the face of the discs — renderings that include skateboarding, snowboarding, wakeboarding, BMX biking and motor cross racing.
The Memorex discs also are available with equally extreme packaging — new kick-out slim disc cases that come in clear with purple, yellow, red or blue tabs.
Action sports-theme packs also include a promotional disc noting rebates, coupons, extreme sports footage, athlete interviews and trick tips.
Action sports-theme CD-R media will be available in stores in late spring at suggested retails of $7.99 for an 8-pack and $12.99 for a 25-pack.
