FREMONT, CALIF. — Logitech recently
introduced a new gaming keyboard and
mouse specifically designed for Call Of
Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
The Logitech Gaming Keyboard
G105, “the official keyboard of Call of
Duty: Modern Warfare 3,” features military-
style, night-vision green LED backlighting.
The keyboard includes six programmable
G-keys, each with three mode
states, to provide up to 18 possible
macro combinations per game. The
macros can range from single keystroke
commands to multi-key combinations
that include mouse events, user-defined
delays and repeating. With a free download
of Logitech Gaming software, new
macros can be recorded on the fly.
Multi-key input allows the use of up to
five keys at once.
Media key controls include volume,
mute, start, stop, pause, forward and
back functions. A game/desktop mode
switch disables the Windows and Context
Menu keys, so a game won’t be interrupted
if the wrong keys are pressed.
Also new, the Logitech laser mouse
G9X allows in-game, adjustable resolution
settings, from 200 dpi to 5,700 dpi.
It sports a MicroGear Precision scroll wheel for frictionless hyper-fast scrolling,
the company said.
A weight-tuning system allows customization
with up to 28 grams of extra
weight. The colors of the mouse’s LEDs
can be customized also.
The keyboard is currently shipping for
a suggested retail $79.99.
The mouse
is expected this month for a suggested
retail of $99.99.
