Iogear has introduced its three-port USB 2.0 mobile hub with a built-in mini USB cable
The SKU, model GUH276, includes three evenly spaced, upward-facing USB ports that prevent blockage to other outlets when a user connects a large dongle or flash drive to another port.
The integrated mini-USB cable allows users to charge and transfer content from thousands of models of cellphones, MP3 players and USB devices without the need to carry an extra cord. The integrated cord tucks away in a ridge along the side of the device when not in use.
The hub also has a regular USB cord that also clips along the edge of the device.
“In an increasingly mobile age where laptops are more prevalent, consumers need comprehensive solutions to increase efficiency,” said Miranda Su, Iogear executive VP. “Our [new hub's] design keeps this in mind, offering three amply spaced USB ports in addition to a mini-USB cord that individuals can easily use to plug in their favorite devices to transfer data or repower.”
The hub has a suggested retail of $12.95 and comes with the company's three-year warranty. It is available immediately from all major catalog and online resellers, as well as select retail outlets.
