Iogear Launches Wireless Keyboard/Mouse

By TWICE Staff On Sep 4 2006 - 6:00am

Iogear is introducing a 2.4GHz Wireless Multimedia Keyboard/Mouse Combo, consisting of a USB receiver, keyboard and optical mouse. Connected to the computer wirelessly with a USB receiver, the multimedia keyboard and mouse allow users to control their computers from up to 33 feet away.

The 800 dpi optical mouse requires minimal movement and offers accuracy on most surfaces, the company says, enabling consumers to utilize it virtually anywhere in the room.

The USB receiver serves as a charging cradle for the mouse, and the Combo, which operates at 2.4GHz, is Wi-Fi friendly.

The multi-language keyboard is designed with a low-degree tilt to ensure comfortable typing and avoid wrist injury, and enables users to type in English, French, and Spanish. It contains multimedia keys that allow instant access to a variety of common applications and tasks, including e-mail, volume control, CD play and pause, media player, and Web browsing. The Combo also comes with software to utilize the keyboard's enhanced function keys, which are completely customizable and can be programmed to launch favorite Web sites. Suggested retail is $79.95.
