Iogear Introduces USB 3.0 Accessories

FOOTHILL RANCH, CALIF. — Iogear recently took the wraps off three USB 3.0 devices: a multi-card reader/writer, an SD/MicroSD card reader/writer and a four-port hub.

All of the products are backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices and connections.

The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 fourport hub (GUH374) allows data transfer between a computer and up to four devices. It is plug-andplay and hot swappable. Suggested retail is $49.95.

The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 multicard reader/writer (GFR381) can transfer data from 59 different memory card formats, Iogear said. Multiple memory cards can be inserted into the GFR381 for use at the same time. Suggested retail is $37.95.

The SuperSpeed USB 3.0 SD/MicroSD card reader/writer (GFR304SD) supports the following formts: SD, SDHC, SDXC, MicroSD, MicroSDHC, MicroSDXC, MMC II, RS MMC, Ultra II SD, Extreme SD and Extreme III SD. It is said to be the size of a USB thumb drive. Suggested retail is $16.95.
