H2O Audio announced last week the iDive 300, a waterproof iPod housing and over-ear speakers meant for snorkeling and scuba and free diving.
The iDive 300 ($349) features a built-in amplifier, acoustically engineered headphones that can be attached to a mask strap or tucked under a dive hood, and an integrated processor that allows for push-button control of click wheels and touchscreens. The company calls it “the perfect product for long decompression stops or those looking to add a soundtrack to their next dive.”
It operates using three AA batteries and is currently available.
