TAIPEI, TAIWAN – Genius has introduced
what it is calling the world’s
first battery-free wireless mouse that
recharges in minutes.
The new DX-ECO BlueEye Mouse
delivers a full day’s use after a threeminute
charge, Genius said, with the
use of a built-in gold capacitor that can
be recharged up to 100,000 times.
The DX-ECO BlueEye sensor technology
is said to work on virtually any
surface, including dusted glass, marble
or thick carpet. Its 2.4GHz USB
pico receiver has a range of 33 feet
and can be stored inside the mouse.
It features four-way scrolling, 800
to 1,600 adjustable dpi settings, and
next/previous-page hot keys.
The mouse ships with a CD driver
and MicroUSB charging cable and
has a suggested retail of $39.99.
