Uniross, a European manufacturer of rechargeable batteries and chargers, is entering the U.S. market with what it calls "the industry's only truly full line of advanced rechargeable products."
Uniross introduced here at CES early in January a 2400mAh rechargeable battery, promoted as the "world's highest capacity rechargeable battery," as well as "innovative" high-speed charging systems, a full line of audio batteries and chargers and a rechargeable global travel system.
The company's 2400mAh rechargeable battery is said to deliver 20 percent more capacity than any other rechargeable, and is pointed toward meeting the demands of high-energy products such as digital cameras.
Uniross also is launching what it calls the first ever battery range dedicated to portable audio devices that provide a high quality and economic value option for powering all MP3, MiniDisc, Discman and Walkman players, as well as other high-drain audio products.
The Uniross Sprint 15-minute re-charger is also new, and can fully power AA or AAA batteries in 15 minutes. These chargers have the ability to rapidly charge any brand of rechargeable batteries.
The company also is introducing here the "world's only compact worldwide travel charger, called the Globe Trotter.
