WISCONSIN RAPIDS, WIS. -The Dual Purpose Cell Phone battery and light, NU-900, offers an integrated light in the cellphone battery case that provides the cellphone user illumination whenever required.

Charging the battery charges the light, so if used five minutes per charge, the light uses less than 2.5 percent of the total battery capacity.

Available from Pal Products, here, the phone light takes a nickel-metal hydride battery and works with Nokia-model cellphones 5120, 5160, 5190, 6120, 6159, 6161, 6162 and 6190. It also works with Motorola Startac-model cellphones 6000, 6500, 7790, 8000 and 8500.

Ideal as a map light, keyhole lock light and for emergencies, the NU-900 weighs 1 pound and has a suggested retail of $39.95 to $49.95.
