BROOKLYN, N.Y. — CTA Digital plans to introduce two devices meant for cooling off iPods and other mobile devices.

The Cooling Cup (model IP-CCH) is engineered to fit in most car’s cup holders. It is powered via micro-USB cable and has a vent that houses a built-in fan. It comes with the Cooling Cup, cup ring holder, USB cable, AC adapter and 12- volt USB connector.

The second device, the Cooling Cradle (model IP-CGC) holds the phone or iPod in place with padded, adjustable clamps. Features include a USB slot to charge USB-powered mobile phones, on/off switch, and blue LED power indicators.

The Cooling Cradle is compatible with any cellphone that can fit within a 2.5- inch-wide cradle.

Pricing wasn’t available at press time. Both products are scheduled to be available in late April or early May, according to a CTA spokesperson.
