Coby Unveils Soft-Cushioned, Foldable Wireless Headphone

Coby Electronics is hoping the large soft-cushioned ear pads make the new CV-890 2.4GHz wireless headphone attractive to demanding listeners purchasing this full-closed-type professional-series product.

The CV-890, available in the second quarter for a suggested $49.95 retail, includes high-performance 50mm neodymium drivers for deep bass response, wireless transmitter with charging stand and built-in recharging circuit for nickel-cadmium batteries that are included.

Coby is also offering its CV-790, digital stereo headphone with a foldable/swivel ear cup design. These also have the cushioned ear pads and drivers found in the CV-890, and have a single-side cord with gold-plated 3.5mm stereo plug and a gold-plated 6.3 mm stereo adapter plug. Suggested retail is $39.95 and the unit is currently available.
