Austin, Texas — CD3 will be shipping this fall its Home Décor Storage System by Discgear, a “total solution” for media storage, according to the company. The system incorporates all the important aspects of protection, organization, cataloging and ease of disc retrieval — all put together in an aesthetically pleasing design, said CD3.

The single, compact unit, which is said to fashionably blend into the home décor, includes storage unit, cataloging software, title sheets and a literature album for liner notes. Size of the unit is about the size of a small boombox — 8.25 inches by 17 inches by 7.25 inches.

The system consists of a faux leather case with ivory stitching that houses the Selector 100FX, and includes two drawers to hold the albums for liner notes. The two drawers hold 50 liner notes each. Disc- ware Lite software is included for cataloging and organization of any consumer's collection, said the company.

Storage capacity is 100 DVDs, CDs, game or photo discs, and the unit has a suggested retail of $99.
