Designating flat-panel television as the wave of the future, Bush Industries is gearing its furniture design to capitalize on this trend.

The company said its flat-panel TV furniture presents this new technology in stylized and functional ways at an affordable price.

One flat-panel product in the company's Crescendo Collection, model VS30142, offers a flat-panel video base/hutch in a satin chrome/dark silver finish.

Designed with metal and glass to complement the look of modern plasma televisions and TV/VCR-flat panels, the unit offers a back panel with grommets that conceal cables, levelers that adjust for uneven floors and detachable hutch for mounting a TV. Suggested retail is $199.

Another Bush flat-panel product is the Universal Collection video base and audio tower in a satin-chrome finish. Called the VS74377, the unit is 22 7/8-inches high by 58-1/2 inches wide by 25 inches deep. It has a suggested $299 retail and can be configured with the AD74300-03 audio tower at a suggested $199 retail, and with the video base, also at a suggested $199.
