The Kangaroo, model AU-150 from Audiology, is positioned as the “first and only” docking behind-the-back headphone for the iPod Shuffle.
Users wear the Shuffle like a headphone, since the Kangaroo presents a completely hands-free approach to using the iPod model. The unit is said to be perfect for traveling, exercising or other activities.
Considered extremely lightweight and ultra com- fortable, the Kangaroo allows the user to simply slide the Shuffle on to the dock located on the headphone band. Users then plug in the Shuffle and are instantly connected. The Shuffle is completely protected since it is housed within the Kangaroo's “pouch.” Suggested retail is $29.99, and the Kangaroo is scheduled for December availability.
Audiology, which offers a line of 13 different headphones, with another 13 on the drawing board, also is making available iTransit, an all-in-one carrying case with built-in headphone solution for iPod Mini users on the go. The company's line focuses on colors, new designs and innovative features.
