Organization is the key to home media storage, according to Atlantic, which is working to create multimedia storage products designed to “easily” organize entire DVD and CD collections, while, at the same time, complementing home décor.
The company has found that due to increasing popularity of DVDs, and the fact more and more consumers are using CDs for storage, high-capacity multimedia storage is becoming a necessity. Consumers, today, are shopping for multimedia storage the same way they purchase bookshelves and cabinets, said Atlantic. To that end, the company's Vision line provides an “attractive” method for building an organized multimedia library.
A centralized location, called Vision, is able to hold discs for digital photography, personal and work documents, downloaded music and videos. Storage includes space for discs in and out of jewel cases as well as storage for instruction manuals and liner notes.
Atlantic's Vision, a digital library system that features a “unique” hanging file system to store and organize all burned CDs and well as shelving to house jewel cases, is available in a number of products. The Vision-DLS/479 CD, at a suggested $149.99 retail, and the Vision-DLS/490 CD, at $79.99, feature storage for up to 329 CDs and 140 discs (75 sleeves) or 152 DVDs and 30 CDS (150 quick access). Both feature a contrasting cream and chocolate color scheme.
