Genius Introduces
120-Degree Webcam
TAIPEI, TAIWAN — Genius introduced
what it’s calling the first 120-degree ultrawide-
angle 1080p webcam.
The WideCam F100 features a manual focus
lens, built-in microphone, the ability to take
12-megapixel photos, and a base that rotates a
full 360 degrees. It comes with a 10-foot USB
extension cable software that allows photos to
be sent directly to social-media sites.
The WideCam F100 is currently available
for a $59.99 suggested retail.

DisplayPort 3D Adapter
FREMONT, CALIF. — Accell recently announced
its UltraAV DisplayPort to DVI-D
Dual-Link Active Adapter featuring support
for 3D displays.
For video cards featuring a Mini DisplayPort
video output, users can convert the adapter
using the included adapter. The company said
it supports monitor refresh rates up to 120Hz,
making it ideal for use with 3D DVI monitors.
It’s currently available for a $109 suggested
retail.

With The Avengers
FREMONT, CALIF. — Dane-Elec is joining
the Avengers (the bandwagon, anyway) with
the launch of Avengers-themed character
USB drives. The company is offering replicas
of Captain America, Thor, the Hulk and
Iron Man, as well as a four-port USB hub.
The drives feature 8GB of storage and retail
for $19.99.
