The conference took place at the Arizona Biltmore Resort and was designed to recognize and honor the manufacturer's worldwide distributors. In addition to the awards ceremony, the event featured roundtable and one-on-one discussions, product trainings, storefront tours and sponsored recreational activities.
WOODLAND HILLS, CALIF. — Geffen introduced its new DVI audio extender, designed to support the extension of analog and digital formats with HD video in one unit. The sender/receiver units come with S/PDIF (digital coax), optical TOSlink and left/right analog RCA audio inputs and outputs.
The product is designed to extend HDTV visuals up to 1,080p (1,920 by 1,200) with multichannel stereo audio all in one device. Each package, retailing at $649, includes six-foot DVI and audio RCA cables with two external power supplies and the sender/receiver unit.
